Monticello Hardwood Flooring is owned and operated by Patrick Doyle out of Winters, CA. Patrick was raised in the hills of Napa, CA in a small community known as Lake Berryessa, which was formally the old town of Monticello. He graduated from St. Helena High School in 1995 and immediately joined a prominent hardwood flooring company out of Calistoga, Donald Williams Wood Floors. He spent 19 years working there until it's closing in December 2014. Many of his past jobs have consisted of residential and commercial. Napa Valley and the surrounding communities have an abundance of Wineries and restaurants with wood floors, many of which he has done. He has also been fortunate enough to do the floors of a few well known celebrities, all of which remain confidential for their anonymity. Patrick now resides in the city of Winters, with his childhood sweetheart, now wife, and their two children.
Patrick believes that quality and integrity have been the hallmark of his work. He has worked with a variety of wood species and stains. He has done a number of installations of true hardwood, prefinish floors, reclaimed floors, and occasionally laminate. Patrick's true craft is in the art of refinishing of antique floors, and the restoration of stairs. Many homes have preexisting hardwood floors which have been covered with linolieum, carpet, tile, you name it, but underneath lies a sleeping beauty, waiting to be uncovered.
